Green, Clean & Fit Gurugram

About the Project

Public parks are the heart of urban communities, providing essential green spaces for recreation, fitness, and environmental conservation. However, many parks in Gurugram remain underutilized due to poor maintenance, lack of facilities, and limited community engagement.

SUEZ Arogyam Udhyan – Green, Clean & Fit Gurugram is a transformative initiative led by the Noble Citizen Foundation in partnership with SUEZ India to revitalize a selected park in Gurugram. This project aims to create a vibrant, eco-friendly, and accessible space for residents while promoting sustainability, fitness, and community well-being.

Project Objectives

•Enhance Aesthetic Appeal: Landscaping upgrades, shaded seating, and improved pathways.

• Promote Physical Wellness: Installation of outdoor gym equipment for all age groups.

• Improve Accessibility & Safety: Solar-powered LED lighting for security and extended park usage.

• Boost Environmental Sustainability: Native sapling plantations, water-efficient irrigation, and recycling facilities.

• Foster Community Engagement: Awareness programs, workshops, and corporate volunteer initiatives.

• Support Biodiversity: Plantation of fruit-bearing and medicinal trees to attract wildlife.

Why It Matters?

Gurugram, a rapidly urbanizing city, faces challenges such as declining green cover, air pollution, and lifestyle diseases due to sedentary habits. With limited recreational areas, residents have fewer opportunities for outdoor activities, leading to rising health concerns. By revitalizing urban parks, we aim to address these challenges and create a sustainable, green, and fit Gurugram.
